These creatures started appearing during LU46. They appear in nearly ever major zone in game and several minor zones as well, always at a level appropriate to the zone. (See Tempest affected Creatures List for locations.) Although they initially appear as non-attackable creatures, they eventually become attackable after killing a random series of dark seepages , dark horrors , or shadow brutes .
