#* To exit the instance, turn around. There's a standard round portal behind you. You can fly to the {{POI|Thurgadin Harbor|docks}} via the Griffon near {{NPC|Tora|}}.
# Speak to {{NPC|Fenwick|}} {{loc|1293| -540| 474|uid=53058}}. Ask him about Brell.
# Search the library in Brell's temple in Thurgadin for information about the shawl. It's a scroll at {{loc|475| -211| 237}} , on the second shelf from the bottom. Pick it up to receive [[Personal Notes of Lorekeeper Solstrin]]. 
#* If you're an Armorer or Tailor, be sure to grab the extra recipe scroll at {{loc|475| -211|237}} next to it!
# Speak to {{NPC|Loremaster Verdandi|}} in {{POI|The Temple of Brell}} in {{Zone|Thurgadin, City of the Coldain|}} at {{loc|474.12|-211.64|255.32|uid=55947}}.
#* Note: She will not tell you about the prayer shawl until you have 40,000 faction with the [[Forgemasters of Thurgadin]].
# Speak to {{NPC|Capru|}} in the {{POI|Goahmari Village}} {{loc|377| -15| 528|uid=53209}}.
# Retrieve the {{Item|Damaged Coldain Prayer Shawl}} from the box at {{NPC|Capru|Capru's}} feet.
# Scribe [[Goahmari Notes on Shawl Repair]], now in your inventory.
# Collect your ingredients and repair the {{Item|Silk Coldain Prayer Shawl}} at a sewing table.
#* You can get two {{Item|Crystalline Spiderling Silk}} per day from spiderling {{NPC|Ktlk|}}, if you've done the tradeskill mount timeline (if you don't see any spiders, it's because you haven't done the tradeskill mount timeline), or you can buy it from other players at the broker or get it from a friend (it's tradeable).

# Speak to {{NPC|Mira|}} at {{loc|-1357| -534| -2160|uid=53619}} in {{Zone|Great Divide|}}. She gives you two {{Item|Siren Hair}}. (If you lose them you'll have to buy them from {{NPC|Shady Swashbuckler|}} on the {{Zone|Nektulos Forest|}} docks for an outrageous price - {{Coin|10|20|0|0}}.)
#* You can get to her easy using your Evac spell or picture in your house (she's at the Othmir camp)
# Scribe the [[Coldain Records on Historical Embroidery]]. Collect the ingredients and repair the [[Embroidered Coldain Prayer Shawl]] on a sewing table.
# Speak to {{NPC|Loremaster Verdandi|}} in {{POI|The Temple of Brell}} in {{Zone|Thurgadin, City of the Coldain|}} at {{loc|474.12|-211.64|255.32|uid=55947}}.
# Pray to Brell in {{POI|The Temple of Brell|the temple in Thurgadin}}.
#* You will need {{Item|Gnomish Pirate Spirits}} (made during the {{Quest|High Spirits|}} quest and buyable at the broker - see Preamble).
#* There's an altar at {{loc|487| -213| 257}}. Right-click it and select "leave offering".
