This quest was put in late in the Beta to guide players back into the rat caves until they found the quest starter for Scribblings on the Wall . It becomes available after completing Joining Their Ranks and is repeatable until you finally accept Scribblings on the Wall .

Alwari Yuk'sel is tired of the vermin sneaking into The City of Paineel nightly and stealing supplies. Alwari has asked me to go into the vermin cave and dispatch any that I come across. This should send a message that this behavior will no longer be tolerated by the erudites.
