Help:Vanguard

Vanguard is a group of Wikia users who have volunteered to help make Wikia’s content available on the widest possible range of devices. They often hang out at the Portability Hub , where they’re involved in all manner of user-generated discussions on the subject. They have been given additional user rights that allow them freer access to the MediaWiki and Template namespaces, Wikia-wide.

Kop User:Kopcap94 Central Wall Languages : ru-N, en-3, ka-1 Kopcap94 is a Russian helper that joined Wikia in 2014. Interested in something new, he started to learn the new feature known as Portable Infoboxes long ago and now can help anyone with this. If you have questions - feel free to ask him!	Yatta / Kiwi User:Yatalu Central Wall Skype Languages : nl-N, en-4, ja-3, fr-2 ru-1, de-1 (es-1, ko-1) Yatalu is a Belgian who joined Wikia in 2011 and became a Dutch Helper in 2013. She has a thing for languages and will go great lengths for Wikia internationalization and international support. She finds Portable Infoboxes an easy-to-code alternative to infoboxes made of tables and an overdose of #if .
Techno User:Technobliterator Central Wall Languages : en-N, ja-1, es-1 Technobliterator has been editing a large variety of wikis on Wikia since 2009. His expertise is in gaming wikis, and as such, can help with any stat-heavy infoboxes. He can help with any technical needs involving advanced wikitext, pywikibot, CSS and portable syntax, and may just be able to help with Lua and JS. Contact him if you're stuck with any of the above.	Tono User:Tono555 Central Wall Languages : es-N, en-4, fr-2, pt-br-1 Tono555 has been on Wikia since 2014 and mainly edits on both the Spanish and English Avatar communities. He hopes he can help you with any problems you might have with portable infoboxes; though he can also help out with bot problems and CSS.
Ultimate / UltiSup User:UltimateSupreme Central Wall Skype Languages : en-3 UltimateSupreme has been an active member since 2012. He can often be found editing on Narutopedia . He is good with technical stuff like CSS, JS, bots, abuse filters and more and is looking forward to creating stunning portable infoboxes for your wiki.	Payne User:Paynekiller92 Central Wall Skype Languages : es-N, en-2, fr-1 Paynekiller92 has been an active member since 2014 and he's Spanish. He usually edits on both Spanish Community Central and Wikia No Man's Sky (es) wikis. He can help with any technical problem and he has a good level of PI, CSS, Python, Lua and JS. He can be found either on Encyclopedia Gamia or on Yu-Gi-Oh! .	Rain User:Dragon Rainbow Central Wall Skype Languages : de-N, en-2 Dragon Rainbow has been working on Wikia for several years now. He works mainly on German wikis. You can find him on the German Portability Hub , German Community Central or on one of his many wikis.
Xemnas User:Xemnas Axel Central Wall Skype Languages : es-N, en-3, ja-1 Xemnas Axel is a normal student, started at Wikia in early 2013. She loves to sleep, is a moderator in the Community Central and belongs to the Community Council and Vanguard groups.	Cyan User:Cyanide3 Central Wall Skype Languages : de-N, en-4, es-1 Cyanide3 has been an active member since December 2011. As a coffee-addicted user she is working on German Wikias and is a part of the VSTF -Team. She loves playing Ingress and diving into the world of Transformers .
Wowa S. User:Trollocool Central Wall Skype Languages : de-N, ua-N, en-3, fr-1, ru-1 Trollocool spends time on Wikia after quitting Goat Simulator. He can be found in various German communities and some English ones and is a CSS addict.

Tools

Vanguard members have some of the same privileges as local administrators , but across all of Wikia. In particular, they can fully access your site’s Template and MediaWiki namespaces. Of course, they do not replace or "outrank" your local administrators. Vanguard team members will make every effort to consult with your local team. The main reason for needing to override protection on MediaWiki and Template namespaces is because many wikias don’t have administrative teams in place.
