Talk to Malidain Glacierbane , who is at the end of the river on the Daggerflow Glacier at ( -807, -333, -23 ) /waypoint -807, -333, -23 .

Steps Edit

Gather the components for the Coldain Chipper:
- Get a pristine rhino horn
  - Note:the brontotherium patriarch in Great Divide (ring war area) will update this step (heroic encounter) Only one drops, No Trade, BUT... it has the new 'tradeable for 48 hrs...' flag on it, and everyone in the group can trade it around to get the update. DON'T DO THIS. Everyone needs the item to craft the Chipper. The Patriarch respawns almost immediately anywhere between the questgiver and the Ring War area.
- Get 3 petrified treant twigs
  - Note:Dropped by Petrified Ancients in Forgotten Pools This IS now a group update.
- Get 5 sharpening rocks
  - Note:obtained by harvesting little targettable 'piles of dense stone' in the Caverns of Living Stone in Eastern Wastes . ( -23, -400, 3559 ) /waypoint -23, -400, 3559
Craft the chipper on a woodworking table (requires 1 glowing sandpaper) using The Coldain Chipper recipe .
- Note: You CAN lose your components if you fail to make a pristine on the Coldain Chipper recipe (tradeskill level 15), so beware if you are doing this on a level 1 or 2 crafter.
