, включая домашние кабельные модемы/DSL NAT роутеры, студенческие и офисные сети. Но нижеприведенная информация поможет вам в решении проблемы, в случае использования одного из перечисленных видов технологий:
Launchpad патч-сервер:
TCP соединение идет с клиентского порта Launchpad’a > 1023 к

IP адреса:
Существует множество IP адресов для Патч и Launchpad кластеров и они могут изменяться по мере необходимости, так что почаще проверяйте их с помощью
DNS lookup tool
, если вы применяете специфические правила для этих сервисов. IP адреса игровых серверов PlanetSide находятся в следующих подсетях:
199.108.0.*, 199.108.14.*, 199.108.15.*, 199.108.204.*, 199.108.205.*, 195.33.135.*
Использование этой информации непосредственно зависит от вашего файрволла. Правила использования вам необходимо узнать у производителя и/или администратора своего файрволла.
Далее идет основная информация о том, как правильно настроить некоторые из наиболее популярных файрволлов для работы с PlanetSide. Эти установки следует применять только в том случае, если вы не можете присоединиться к вашему серверу PlanetSide, или у вас происходят постоянные случайные отсоединения в ходе игры. Дальше все по-английски(владельцы этих программ должны в этом сами разобраться).
Zone Alarm
Internet Connection Firewall
Sygate Personal Firewall
Norton Personal Firewall
McAfee Personal Firewall
Tiny Personal Firewall
Zone Alarm:
1) Double click on the Zone Alarm system tray icon (the system tray icon is located in the lower right hand corner of your screen where your clock is)
2) Click on Program Control
3) Slide the Tab to the LOW setting
4) Close the window out and run Planetside
Internet Connection Firewall:
1) Right click on My Network Places and click Properties
2) Right click on LAN Connection (or whatever you might have named your broadband connection) and click Properties
3) Click the Advanced Tab
4) Click the check box that states "Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the internet"
5) Click Apply
6) Close the window and run Planetside
Sygate Personal Firewall:
1) Right click on the Sygate Personal Firewall icon in the system tray and left click Sygate Personal Firewall Pro
2) Click Security and then click Allow All
3) Close the Window and run Planetside
Norton Personal Firewall:
1) Go through the Automated Setup
2) Setup Home Networking if you need to do so
3) Run the Automatic Program Scan
4) Check boxes next to all Planetside related programs and select Permit All under Internet Access
5) Click Finish
6) Double click on the system tray icon for Norton and select Personal Firewall
7) Click on Configure
8) Slide the Firewall slider to LOW
McAfee Personal Firewall:
1) Run through the Configuration Assistant
2) Select Allow all traffic
3) Follow through the Startup Options and the Control Access to shares sections
4) Under Allowed Applications, select Search all drives IF Planetside did not show up under the initial scan
5) Place check marks next to all Planetside related applications that show up
6) Click finish and allow the Firewall to apply the settings and reboot your computer
7) Enter Planetside
Tiny Personal Firewall:
1) Right click on the Tiny Personal Firewall system tray icon and select Administration Tool
2) Click Application Groups
3) Click Settings and then click Create new Application Group
4) Name the new Application Group Planetside and set the Security Level to Unrestricted
5) Go into the Unrestricted Applications group and look for all executable files listed under your Planetside directory and move them to the Planetside Application Group you just created
6) Close the window and run Planetside
