Sentinel's Fate Change

- Adornments now have a slot color
- Some Adornments can be buyed from a merchant
- Adornments can be used for multiple slots

I'm not sure what's the best way to handle the multiple slots, if you have ideas how we could handle them let me know please. --

- All Adornments that existed before Sentinel's Fate got removed from game.
- I think the best way is that i create a new Template for the adornments based on the this one. The template could add the Rfg Tag by default and doesn't link the Adornments to categories apart from like 2 categories Removed from game and Adornments Removed from game or similar.
- I checked a few Adornments ingame and the combination of slots are endless an option would be a parameter each slot considering that Adornments are now just for Weapons and don't differ between One-Handed, Two-Handed and so on. Which would mean ~18 Parameters for the slots :/

it looks like as Adornments with Slashing Damage Adornments, Crushing Damage Adornments, Piercing Damage Adornments, Heat Damage Adornments, Cold Damage Adornments, Magic Damage Adornments, Mental Damage Adornments, Divine Damage Adornments, Disease Damage Adornments and Poison Damage Adornments got replaced with Ability Modifer right? --

- I went to add in the adornments that Elendra sells, today, and noticed that the Adornment template was still from before SF, and eventually wound up here :) Anyway, the answer to your above question is yes. Would it help you if I uploaded the examine windows for the sold Adornments, as well as from crafting, to decide on how to create the new template? i have a good overview of the Adornments. While i reviewed the code i felled over those parameters. I will try to update the Template soon as i have time. --

- Take a look at two images I uploaded, File:Yellow_Adorn_1.png and File:Yellow_Adorn_2.png , to see the examine windows for all the Yellow-slot Adornments that Elendra in City of Paineel sells. The template I see at your link is missing many effects seen on these adornments. Other than that, looks ok. AndonSage 16:38, March 24, 2010 (UTC)

Hello.
I noticed you need to specify each slot an adornment can be used on.
Though, for the
desc
parameter, you have to do it again to have the slots show up on screen.
Is it possible to have the template generate
Item Type: slot1,slot2,etc
from the slot parameters set to
yes
?
AFAIK, all adornments work that way atm, and so,
desc
could be used to add some additional free text, like
Template:EquipInformation
uses it.
What do you think?

The template still needs a little improvement (as mentioned above), Maybe take a look at
