Merry Meet!
My name is Avalinas and I'm a part of the Shard Collectors Guild on the Unrest Server.
I started playing EQ2 3 years or so ago. I remeber back in 1999 my co worked mentioned Everquest and said I should join. At the time I told him if I joined a game like EQ I would become an addict. Well 3 or so years ago, a friend of mine said I should try EQ2. I told him the same thing... I'm afraid I will become an addict, but I said hell, why not. I joined the server he was on and he explained the whole game to me. Her I am now... 3+ years later playing. (eh go figure)
Now about the guild I'm in. Since starting I was in two other guilds. (shall remain nameless) The 1st one I was in was rather quite. The 2nd one I felt as though there were just a bunch of kids. (yes I'm old)
In game play I saw a lot of Shard Collectors. Well it got me curisous. I did a search for them on the EQ2 site and I saw they were around for a while and had many members. I droped the current guild I was in, and asked a memeber if I could join.
Sure enough, I was welcome with open arms. They helped me if I had questions (they still do, lol) The Shard Collectors are friendly, family oriented, funny, and just a well rounded great bunch of people.
I couldn't ask for better team to be a part of! I love them all!
