I'm a Software Engineer, (University) and an Aerospace Manufacturing Technician (College). I work at a plant that makes aircraft parts and assemblies for various OEM's.
Ok, I'll clear one thing up, I'm not actually a paramedic per se, I'm a volunteer Advanced Medical First Responder, Level 2 with St. John Ambulance . This is somewhat similar to the EMT-B (Basic) in the US. But try explaining to the general public: "I'm a Medical First Responder" -- It doesn't really work. (Unless you're in northern communities, but that's a different ball of wax.)
EQ2 Related
About me and my alts . I have a bad(?) habit of making alts and ignoring my main (and other alts). One thing I love about (the original EQ and) EQ2 is the great variety of toons. If I invested all the time from all the alts I've tried and put that into my main, I would have been 80-80 by now. Oh well, it's all fun. I've tried to pare things down to the main and alts I have listed here and keep it that way... unless something like a guild event happens where we all create new toons and do a raid on, um, Splitpaw, ya, that's it. Heh. ;) I've always wanted to do a raid with extra low level toons, just for kicks. Oh well, if the guild ever wanted more of a certain class I would not be opposed to creating a new toon just to see what things are like.

Well hello again. I thought it was high time I left some more permanent electrons on this website. Well, I was downsized in July and have not been able to find work since and well since I have not had an EQ2 subscription. I have however found the (somewhat annoying) world of the Free-To-Play server, over which I am having mixed reactions. Yes, one time $10 gets you to silver but doesn't get rid of the adds, and paying $10 kind of defeats the purpose of "free", right? That being said, I miss my original toons: Cis, Aloaph, Beaufort, *snif*. I have been checking in here every once in a while to keep tabs on things, although my edit count has seen better days. Wow, that's an old photo I have posted of myself. Right, I was getting passport photos done and just as I was sitting down the photographer called my name and I gave him the look, well, he snapped rather quickly and gave me a set of photos too.
Well, ok, I'll try to keep better tabs on the wikia, I plan on getting some EQ2x time in today. Oh, and BTW, if anyone knows of an opening for a Software Engineer and Aerospace Manufacturing Technologist, I'm available. ;)
Hi, I'm back! I'll leave a quick post here, must fax off a transcript and go to bed. I've been working on my Tombs of the Night series -- I really want to get that one finished and get my quasi-L&L Vampire - not to mention some cool looking robes from the vendors in Nek forest. In doing so, I've discovered that you can't get the fangs you need for Ceremony of the Fanged Necklace until you get to the third part of the series. I tried endlessly to get fangs from Tombs of Night: A Search for Answers , but they never dropped. I gave up and went on with the Bloodline Chronicles quest series, and went to Tombs of Night: Retribution and they dropped like candy. See Ceremony of the Fanged Necklace for the full entry. Why am I doing that when Cis is 64? To get it done and out of the way. I like having a clean quest log, and I despise deleting quests when I could complete them. Besides, now just about anything you do for a quest (including completing it) counts towards the WoW achievement log. Er, um, I mean, WoW like, er, WoW style... hehe. Ok, I'll stop a tad short of saying it was completely ripped off from WoW. They [i]did[/i] improve on the Achievement system by allowing you get rewards from completing a select number of them. BTW, I still have to update some of my other toons, post patch, re AA shifts, racial changes etc. Oooo, my warden now gets track, no, wait, it wasn't because he was a warden, it's because he's a Kerran! Well, my EQ2 time has run out, *SOB*, *CRY*, and I promised my wife that I would play WoW for a month. (Please don't hate me for speaking words like that around here! ;) ) So, Wow it is for now. I've had nothing but trouble with the game since I've decided to re-install it. First I find out that my account is locked out for apparently being breached (maybe, but not likely), and it takes me 3 or 4 emails to the Account Administration team to get it unlocked. Fine, that's done. I take my DVD's (Burning Crusade) and do an install, which goes well, then it tells me there's a patch. Ok, patch away, I expected this. The patch is relatively small. Run the program again, another patch - 600 megs. Holy cow, that's huge! But ok, patch away. After some waiting and patching, run the program again. Yes, you guessed it, another patch. It's at this point I decided to just download the whole game from Blizzards website, which should be up to date, right? Um,... no. *GAH* So, I download a x.xx to the latest revision patch zip file (1.5 Gig worth) and set to running about 10 patches, in order. (This is what I really hate about Blizzards patch system, and what I really like about Sony's.) The only saving grace about Blizzards patch system is that all the new patches are available in torrent form, which is good.
But
I don't recall ever seeing a form that asked me if I want other people to upload torrents from my machine, which I'm sure they're doing once I have the patch! *GAH* So, after a long battle,

In recent news, my wife and I had our first baby on Wed Feb 25, 2009 at 2020h (EST, GMT +5), Alyssa Grace, weighing 5lbs 15oz (2700 g). Looks like a possible Templar here... ;)

I'd like to find a way to actually include my toon's information here without the duplicating effect on the Class and TSClass userboxes. I mean, how interesting is it to read the toon names here, then go through the effort of opening each toon up (or going back and forth). Maybe if there were a "hide" option... hmmm, yessss, that would do nicely. I could include the link (as show), but put a "+" before the link indicating that the information is available to be "opened up" on this page. That way minimalists are satisfied with one topic per page, and lazy people are satisfied that all the information is at their fingertips on one page. Excellent Smithers!
