As the daylight rose, nightmares passed, and Katarzyna awoke in a small town, a town unknown to her. She struggled to remember how she got there, she floated to a guard. She inquired as to her whereabouts. "Hate's Envy," was his reply. She found no recollection of that name in her memory, or anything else for that matter. As the look of bewilderment became known to the guard, he answered Katarzyna's inquisitive eyes with, "You've been out cold for a while. You'll find the city of Neriak to the northeast of Darklight Wood, across Innoruuk's Scar. You can settle there, if you wish. They welcome...your kind."
It is there Katarzyna started her journey. Taking up the art of Wizardry, she focused her anger and malice on enemies sworn to smite her. And now with all the time in the world, she plans on exploring Norrath, perhaps for a second time.
