About Me Edit

I started playing Everquest in 2002. It's funny because my brother had recently moved in with me, and asked me to buy him the software for EQ so he could play. I did, and I paid for his account. I watched him play, and I told him that the game looked stupid because you don't even look like your hitting the thing. You are standing about 5 ft from the mob and swinging your weapon at it. He told me no it's fun, you should try it. So I made my 1st toon, Incendia, a High Elf Wizard. I absolutely became addicted to Everquest. My brother would sleep at my feet waiting for his turn to play. Eventually Everquest II came out. Some people switched, but not I. I called those that did switch over, traitors. A couple of years later, while I was in Russia , my brother and other family members switched over to EQ2. So I gave in and switched over. The graphics were amazing! I made my 1st character, a Dark Elf Inquisitor named Yasva, and a guild named Stormm Ryders. Family members joined, and recruitment was low. Eventually the fam stopped playing, and basically I was left there alone. Grouping seemed difficult, and I didn't get far. I made it into the 40's before I stopped playing in 2007. In 2010, I found myself wanting to play EQ2 again, but I couldn't afford to buy the software, and pay the memebership fees, so I found a "free" game called Evony . I joined an alliance there, and soon became host of it. I met some really good people and we became friends. That game was very stressful, however. It is full of politics, and the owners are in another country. When you spend your money (on highly overpriced) items, and something goes wrong, you don't get a refund or a credit, or anything. I found myself wondering about EQ2, so I looked it up. To my surprise a beta of Everquest 2 Extended was out, a free to play version of EQ2. I tried logging in on my original account, but I couldn't, so I made a new account (only to find out that it wasn't open to current players of EQ/EQ2 until a day after I signed up). I got stuck with having a new account. Anyway, I asked my good friend in Evony to come over too, and he did, as well as some other friends from Evony. We started a guild called Valkyrie , and our EQ2X adventures began.
