Would just like to confirm your post on EQ2.wikia for the Crystal Caverns:Collapse. Very helpful and also I realised the same problems. After jumping the wall (with aid of Spring-Loaded Gnomish stolts could not solo the Gem Collector or Herbalist and was not able to access the door for the other side of zone.
update, after much effort I was able to jump the wall for the left/west or other side of the zone. Use the green crystals to get as high as you can and you will see a small lip walkway near the top then just jump over wall. This way I was at least able to finish the Trapped within the Crystals quest. hope this helps :-)
