General Questions

What is imgup.net?

imgup.net is a free Image Upload Service. You can upload your images here to share them with friends, post in message boards, use in websites or online auctions.

Does imgup.net cost anything?

No, imgup.net is completely free and will always be. The project is only financed by advertisements.

How can I report abusive images?

If you have found an image being in violation of our terms of service , please report by filling the contact form .

Image Hosting

How many images can I upload?

As many as you want! You can upload max. 10 images at once, repeat that as you wish.

What image types can be uploaded?

You can upload all images of formats JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP or PSD. If it is necessary we convert your image to a web-suitable format so it can be displayed in browsers.

Are there any size limitations?

Yes, but it is hardly relevant. The maximum file size is 8192 KB per image.

Who sees my images?

Only who has the link to your image can see it. There is no public gallery. So you can decide who you want to show it on your own.

How long are my images being hosted?

We host your images as long as you need them. If your image has not been viewed for over 3 months we assume you do not need it anymore and delete it from our server. If you want to have full control about whether and when your images get deleted, sign up .

Login & Registration

Why should I sign up?

Signed up users can easily manage their uploaded images, create image albums or just delete images when they are not needed anymore. Images of signed up users will not be deleted automatically.

How to delete an image?

Move your cursor on the image thumbnail so that the image link is displayed. Next to the link is a button to delete the image. You can only delete images you uploaded while logged in.

How to create image albums?

Click "New Album", enter a name and then simply drag your already uploaded images onto the album label on the right side.

How to sort images in albums?

You can change the image order by simply dragging the images to the according position.

Why do you need my email address? Will you send me SPAM?

When you sign up we send a confirmation link to your email address to activate your account. That way if you ever forget your password, you can easily request a new one. We will not give your email address to anyone else or send you periodical newsletters or the like. We hate SPAM too.
